LAHORE: (Saturday, July 26, 2025): Punjab University Library conducted a workshop on “Use of Scopus for Bibliometric and Systematic Reviews”, under the umbrella of HEC Databases. The workshop aimed at enhancing research skills through the effective use of Scopus, VOS Viewer, and Endnote software. On this occasion, Chief Librarian Dr Muhammad Haroon Usmani, students, research scholars and faculty members from Punjab University and other universities. In his address, Dr Muhammad Haroon Usmani said that participants’ active engagement and feedback highlighted the significance of such technical workshops for academic and research excellence. He also appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and emphasized the importance of such training sessions for strengthening academic research. Resource persons Deputy Chief Librarian Kashif Khurshid and Librarian Dr Murtaza Ashiq guided the participants with in-depth practical knowledge and demonstrations.
